A future entry on this site will include a more detailed story of the John Abbott II house, home of the Historical Society of Hamilton Township. Currently, (2006) the society is led by president Dr. James Federici. The Society meets the first Monday of every month from March through June, and September through December. Meetings are held in the Hamilton Township Public Library.
