1948: The HHS. Dance Band
Back in the 40's and 50's, when the music was music, the HHS band played many gigs at the Hamilton Saturday night canteens. Pianist Bob Reed passed away during the past year, and with his passing we lost a wonderfully talented musician. As I recall Jack Hartman was also a band leader, but I'm not sure if that is accurate. The late Rudy Goehrig was also a trumpet player, along with Dick Soffel, third in line in the accompanying photo.
