Thunderbird!<br />How's it sold? Good and cold!<br />What's the jive? Bird's alive! What's the price? Thirty twice!<br /><br />This was a commercial for E & J Gallo's first wine, and was it ever a bad one.<br /><br />The worst wine I ever did was E&J Gallo's Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino, properly purchased in a paper bag from a liquor store in Providence. It was the day before we shipped out from Quonset Point. <br /><br />We took in a movie: Clint's "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly." Just me my shipmates and our bottles.
