At Kuser School and Hamilton High, I spent many happy Friday assemblies singing songs we no longer hear: COLUMBIA THE GEM OF THE OCEAN, CAMPING ON THE OLD CAMP GROUND, WHITE CLIFFS OF DOVER, OVER THERE, MY COUNTRY 'TIS OF THEE, AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL, and many many more.<br /><br />Memorial Day 2012 has a very special meaning to me this year as I recall the recent passing of my older brother Len who had 35 missions over Nazi Germany in a B-24.
