1949: SOUTH BROAD STREET APPROACHING FRONT ST.

Here's a splendid view of a very familar downtown Trenton view. A trip to Gimbels or across the street to Goldberg's or perhaps a Saturday night at the RKO Capitol with that significant other.

Hi Tom: Now this is one shot that I love. I was 12 years old in 1949 and I went down town with my mother all the time. We would hit Gimbel's and the other great stores. What wonderful times. They will always live on in my memories and my heart. Thanks you so much, Tom.

Tom - One of my favorite shots of downtown Trenton, shopping with my mother on Thursday nights and of course on Saturday holds such wonderful fun memories. Swern's, later Lit Bros, Gimbels and Goldbergs were our favorites. Later for something special we would hit Yards, Dunhams, and Arnold Constables. Thanks for this.
