I was completely overwhelmed with the number of local citizens who attended our Monday night, April 6th meeting of the Hamilton Township Historical Society. Putting these programs together is a daunting and time consuming task, but thanks to all of you who attended, the time and effort is well worth the time. Our May meeting will feature the first 50 years of Hamilton High School; Hamilton's first. Details will follow in the near future.

Hi Tom: I wish I could have attended your historical program. But, thanks so much for another great "stroll" down memory lane -- Giant Tiger where my family shopped, Castanea, Tattersall's, Cuticura and Planters. I know I used to get samples of nuts walking along the street and went back more than once. Was the name of the Peanut Man "spader'' or something like that. There goes my memory. Regards
Yes Sally "Spader" was his name and always wore a distinctive hat.
