1924: SOON THERE WILL BE AN EAST STATE ST. EXTENSON

Doing local history sometimes seems like a thankless endeavor; especially when one considers the very obscure and little known story of the East State Street Extension from the "STREETS-ROADS-HIGHWAYS" folder is digitized and part of the Hamilton Township Public Library's Local History Collection . Unfortunately, it seems that the only time schools, cities and municipalities and other governmental entities think of us, is when they are preparing for an anniversary or other historic event. Hamilton Township has a splendid historical heritage. Even little known articles such as above which tells of plans to extend East State Street from Klockner Road to Nottingham Way will be of value to someone, sometime, and some day in the near or far future.
