This is an interesting view of North Broad and Acadamy Street, 1922. King's furniture store was a very popular shopping venue for those who were looking for quality furniture, as was "Smith's" across Academy and a bit up North Broad.

I'm sure that everyone here knows that Kreuger was the first ever canned beer. American Can needed a vendor, and Kreuger's was the first to market lined cans that did not impact the flavor of beer. Test rus were made in 1933 - when Prohibition was repealed. Regular production began in 1935. The rest is history.
