2012: ATTENTION TORNADO ALUMNI AND FRIENDS!

I received an email announcing the above event for the alumni and friends of legendary Trenton Central High School. Above is the details of the event in a graphic I modified from a Facebook page. Support this wonderful Trenton educational institution and support all efforts to bring the grand old lady back to its former glory.
If you click on the "SEARCH" icon below my home page and type in Trenton High School, you will find numerous posts relating to the history of this Trenton education classic.

That grand old architectural classic has reposed all these years on Abner Chambers' farm. Few if any of the class of 1932 will be able to attend the upcoming TCHS Alumni Association affair as advertised above, but they will be there in spirit.

HI TOM....MY CLASS OF 1937 WAS AMONG THE EARLIEST AND I WAS AMAZED WHEN I FIRST SAW WHAT APPEARED TO BE ONE OF THE FINEST HIGH SCHOOLS IN THE NATION. THE SCHOOL WAS PRETTY NEW IN 1935 AND MANY OF THE STUDENTS GOT LOST LOOKING FOR CLASSES. I WAS ONE OF THE UNFORTUNATES THAT DID'NT GRADUATE IN ORDER TO HELP OUT AT HOME. I ALWAYS REGRETED THAT BUT STILL MANAGED TO REACH SOME GOALS. KEEP UP YOUR GOOD WORK. BEST REGARDS

Hi Tom: Oh, how I would love to attend. I have wonderful memories of TCHS and the Class of '55. The school was so big that if you had classes at opposite ends of the building you had to really move to get into the room before the bell rang. It was a gorgeous building and a credit to Trenton. Best wishes.
