1922: A RARE VIEW OF STATE AND BROAD IN 1922

The trolleys were running all over the city, what we know of as "antique cars" were new state of the art 1920's motor vehicles, and my parents and grandparents found the pristine view above to be just another day in downtown Trenton.

HI TOM....WOULD YOU BELIEVE WE HAD A 1926 STAR AUTOMOBILE WITH SHADES ON THE WINDOWS AND FLOWER VASES ON THE SIDE. DRIVING ON DIRT ROADS GOING TO BELMAR WE HAD TO KEEP THE WINDOWS UP AND COULD HARDLEY BREATHE. I WAS 7 YEARS OLD BUT CAN RECALL THOSE DAYS LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY. BEST REGARDS.
