1955: THIS ONE'S FOR YOU, RALPH LUCARELLA!

Sorry I haven't found a photo as of the present time, Ralph, but when I do, be assured it will be posted. In the meantime, here's something that will keep you busy, looking over the teams and names of many of your bowling friends.

THANKS A LOT TOM....I ENJOYED READING ABOUT THE SCORES AT THE HAMILTON BOWLING LANES IN 1955. THAT WAS PART OF MY JOB REPORTING THE HIGH SCORES TO HERB CLARK AT THE TIMES EACH WEEK. I CERTAINLY GOT TO MEET AND KNOW A GREAT DEAL OF PEOPLE FROM HAMILTON AND CHAMBERSBURG DURING THE TIME WE HAD THE LANES. BEST REGARDS.

To Mr. Ralph Lucarella: Sir, you probably do not remember me because I was a young boy of about 8 or 10 years old when my father, Danny Regan worked at Hamilton Lanes for you and your brother, Lou.
One thing I remember clearly is seeing a 1955 Chevrolet parked INSIDE the bowling alley! I believe it must have been some type of prize for a high game, etc.
I also remember some of the fine bowlers who bowled in the Friday Major League, including Vince Lucci, Al Boccardo, Fred Lenning, Andy (Babe) Papp, Carmen Aregnano, and many others. One more person I remember was Moe Nahoon who operated the Lunchanette in the bowling alley.
I just thought I'd contribute this little bit to this fine blog. Pete Regan

Thank You Tom, is there any way I could communicate with Mr. Lucarella directly. My father worked for the Lucarella brothers at Hamilton Lanes in the 1950's and 1960's. I have many wonderful memories as a boy at that time I would love to share with Mr. Lucarella. Thanks,,Pete Regan
