1909: THE NEW ST. JOACHIM GRAMMAR SCHOOL

As I have indicated many times previous, one of my favorite history projects is archiving material relating to the Italian-American experience in Chambersburg. I have great admiration for the immigrants who struggled through nearly impossible circumstances in order to integrate into American society. Indeed, they could be called role models for 21st century immigrants.

What a nice picture of Saint Joachims (and the big building there still looks great now.
