1934: KUSER SCHOOL SIXTH GRADERS BUILD A CASTLE

How I loved those "table-top" and "sand box" projects we worked on so earnestly back when I was a student at Kuser School. We made a castle when I was in 5th grade. I remember how it spurred me on to find all I could read about those romantic years. Don't miss the knickers on the boy on the right in the photo. Also check out those very unattractive stockings that were an integral part of a boys' wardrobe back in the 30's and early 40's.
