I think Jay Dunn from the Trentonian claims that the stadium was named after him, even though the stadium is older than him.
I don't believe that, Anonymous. Jay Dunn is a very accomplished baseball historian, and he may have jokingly referred to the filed having the same name, but he certainly knew that Dunn Field preceded him by many years. Tom Glover
