Was there an elevator in the structure? I recall the view from the top was exquisite. I was quite hesitant to leave my bike unattended even in the late 50s/early 60s.
YES BILL, AS FAR AS I KNOW, THE ELEVATOR IS STILL OPERATIONAL.
