1946: GROVEVILLE AND BROMLEY SUMMER PLAYGROUNDS

I WAS A REGULAR VISITOR TO KUSER SCHOOL BACK IN THE 1940'S WHEN THEY HAD THOSE WONDERFUL OUTDOOR MOVIES PROJECTED ON A HUGE SHEET HUNG FROM THE SECOND STORY WINDOW OF THE SCHOOL. BACK IN THE PRE-TELEVISION DAYS, AN OUTDOOR EVENING OF MOVIES WAS A REAL TREAT. LAUREL AND HARDY WERE MY VERY FAVORITES.
