1934: "DO A GOOD DAILY"

THIS IS TROOP 2 HEADQUARTERED AT BETHANY PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH ON HAMILTON AVENUE. THE DEPRESSION RESULTED IN HARD TIMES FOR COUNTLESS CITIZENS AND THE BOYS SCOUTS WERE THERE TO OFFER THEIR ASSISTANCE.

Belonged to Troop 1, just north of Broad St, in a church basement. Great times and great experiences. Became scout leader later on, and enjoyed the enthusiasm the young men displayed, day in and day out. Wish I could find my picture marching in a Trenton parade, carrying a flag.
